- That's it for Chapter 14! Whew, what a ride it's been. Next update will be a silly intermission, followed of course by the title page for chapter 15.

This seems like the typical boss that'll become a regular enemy later in a game.

Whoa, shortest chapter ever, no? How much pages was that? 10?

Anyways, too bad we didn't get to see the boss fight, or any of the loot.

"To be continued" is a stylistic thing, inspired by Jojo's Bizarre Adventure which has put it at the end of every chapter for more than twenty-five years.

Also believe it or not this chapter was the second longest yet at 33 pages, with chapter 12 coming in first at 35.

Go for the legs! They seem weaker than the rest of the body and if he can't run they'll have the upper hand.

Nah, it would be better to go for the arms, if he can't move his arms, the only way he can attack is with the body, head or legs; since his center of gravity is off (due to all that fat), and once he does attack, it's pretty easy to make he go off balance.

If they were to go for the legs, they'll still have to deal with the arms, though he won't be much of a moving target, they would have expended quite a bit of essence/mana taking it (Legs) out. (Also, it's usually better to take one leg out, when concerning bipeds, as would tilt them, if you take both out, they regain balance.

@Guest: how about the right or left arm AND leg, that would mess up his balance completely and make his atacks very predictable.

Or, you know, they cold go for the head and finish it fast LoL

Usually it'd be better to take out the opposing side, E.g Left leg and Right Arm, or Right Leg + Left Arm, reason being, they'd need that arm (Left - Left/ Right - Right) to keep them 'upright', unless they stop trying to stand.

Also, true, but usually they'd have an instinct to protect it, as that's a pretty vulnerable spot, so it's better to first take out the limbs they could use to protect it, then take out the head, as now they can't block/deflect projectiles/attacks now. (Probably would be easier/more efficient to go for the back of the neck, which could paralyze, or out right take them out.
